Important Notice About Compounded Medications

Compounded Semaglutide is not FDA-approved. Compounded medications are prepared by licensed pharmacies for individual patient needs and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality before dispensing.

Do Not Use Compounded Semaglutide If You:

  • Have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC)
  • Have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2)
  • Have had a serious allergic reaction to semaglutide or any ingredient in the formulation
  • Are pregnant or planning to become pregnant

Before Using Semaglutide

Tell your healthcare provider if you:

  • Have a history of pancreatitis
  • Have kidney disease
  • Have gallbladder disease
  • Have severe gastrointestinal disease, including gastroparesis
  • Have diabetic retinopathy or vision problems related to diabetes
  • Have a history of depression or suicidal thoughts
  • Are breastfeeding
  • Take insulin or other diabetes medications
  • Are taking prescription medications, supplements, or other weight management therapies

Common Side Effects

Possible side effects may include:

  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Constipation
  • Stomach pain
  • Indigestion
  • Decreased appetite
  • Fatigue
  • Headache
  • Injection site reactions

Serious Side Effects

Seek medical attention immediately if you experience:

  • Severe abdominal pain that may radiate to the back (possible pancreatitis)
  • Signs of gallbladder problems, including severe upper abdominal pain, fever, or yellowing of the skin or eyes
  • Signs of a serious allergic reaction, including rash, swelling, or difficulty breathing
  • Severe vomiting or diarrhea leading to dehydration
  • Vision changes
  • Symptoms of kidney problems
  • Symptoms of low blood sugar when used with insulin or certain diabetes medications
  • Thoughts of self-harm or significant mood changes

Additional Safety Information

  • Use only as prescribed by your healthcare provider.
  • Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
  • Follow all injection, storage, and handling instructions carefully.
  • Do not use with other semaglutide-containing medications unless directed by your provider.
  • Do not use with other GLP-1 receptor agonists unless specifically instructed by your healthcare provider.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
