Important Safety Information for Sildenafil

- Have kidney disease
- Have a history of vision loss or retinal disorders
- Have a history of hearing problems
- Have a blood cell disorder such as sickle cell anemia, leukemia, or multiple myeloma
- Have a penile deformity or history of priapism
- Take alpha-blockers, blood pressure medications, antifungal medications, HIV medications, or other prescription medications
Common Side Effects
Possible side effects may include:
- Headache
- Flushing
- Indigestion
- Nasal congestion
- Dizziness
- Nausea
- Visual disturbances, such as changes in color vision or blurred vision
- Rash
Serious Side Effects
Seek medical attention immediately if you experience:
- An erection lasting more than 4 hours (priapism)
- Sudden vision loss in one or both eyes
- Sudden decrease or loss of hearing
- Chest pain during sexual activity
- Shortness of breath
- Severe dizziness or fainting
- Signs of a serious allergic reaction, including rash, swelling, or difficulty breathing

- Take sildenafil exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider.
- Do not take more than the prescribed dose.
- Avoid excessive alcohol consumption, which may increase the risk of dizziness and low blood pressure.
- Sildenafil does not protect against sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
